1. Job Definition
Your primary responsibility is the role of Voice Technician. While performing your role as a technician your job performance will be focused on delivering a client centric services model where the mode and method of services delivery is a competitive advantage and a key market differentiator for Telebyte. Team focus, training, learning, evaluation, and quality service work are key components of this role.
In this role, you will ensure that Telebyte is delivering a consistent, best in class customer experience, with the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Major Duties:
Installation and Maintenance of Telebyte supported equipment and materials as defined and requested by your Manager.
• Install any related phone systems and required backend infrastructure which supports the installation of all devices.
• Learn and acquire the knowledge to read and interpret voice plans specifications, schematics and product manuals.
• Adhere to your schedule as defined by your Manager.
• Communicate your schedule and any changes to your Manager and/or other staff as required.
• Complete documentation as required, work orders to be closed as they are completed, providing concise details of the work that was carried out
• Ability to install small cable runs when required, this is not a primary function
• May be required to do on call duties
2. Skills
• Must be able to work unsupervised
• Strong written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to drive a project to completion
• Must have Microsoft skills, word, Excel, and Visio
• Ability to create customer documentation
• Strong networking skills with a focus on VOIP implementations
• Preferred knowledge of Mitel and NEC phone systems
Required Travel: Telebyte will provide you with a work vehicle in order to fulfill your duties.
